What is uplevelling, in business?
what uplevelling is, why you may want to uplevel your business and how you can do it
This blog is about uplevelling your business if you are a coach, health and well-being practitioner, healer, therapist, spiritual guide or similar, working online and you want to reach a new milestone.
Let's go back to the literal meaning, ‘upleveling’ means going up a level, ie to the next level and it’s a bigger jump than just a small, incremental increase (even though they can be amazing too).
My style of uplevelling is also about you moving closer to being in even greater alignment with your truth and what you’re here to do at a soul level.
It is not (again, in my world of soulful women) about hustling and constantly striving for more or not being OK with who and where you are right now. It's about wanting better for yourself, doing work that's more aligned for you, not about having more just for the sake of it. Of course, most business owners are looking to increase their revenue, grow or scale their business. We don’t tend to want to stay where we are!
The kind of uplevelling I’m talking about here isn’t for start-ups either. It’s for coaches that have been going for 2+ years (maybe even a lot longer) and they are ready to take their success up a notch from doing OK, or just about enough, to reaching consistent £5k months and creating a business designed for 6-figures and beyond.
Why uplevel your business?
It could be for many reasons, such as;
Not bringing in enough revenue and wanting to earn a lot more
Attracting clients that are not ideal
Not making enough sales because your offers are not connecting with your ideal clients
Not getting the best results with people but knowing you can
Knowing you’re meant for more
Outgrowing your current positioning, messaging, branding etc
Needing to raise your prices because you feel resentful, or you’re getting burned out
Creating a bigger impact
Wanting to feel more fulfilled
HOW DO YOU UPLEVEL?
To uplevel your business you need 3 essential components:
Inner uplevel (beliefs etc)
Outer uplevel (strategy & actions)
Support & accountability
My Soulful Uplevel Method includes all 3:
1. Uplevel Activation
You need a significant upward shift in your beliefs, thoughts, fears, triggers, energetic presence, knowings, and claiming of your unique gifts, and then you need to embody all of that as a new identity.
You cannot create new and better results with the same mindset and energetics. It doesn’t matter what strategy or offerings you have, if you don’t believe you can sell £5k per month, you just won’t be able to.
2. Soulful Strategy
To create different and better results like a big increase in revenue, you need a different, aligned strategy, a clear niche, uplevelled leveraged offers, uplevelled positioning, elevated messaging and branding and higher prices, so you attract your next-level ideal clients (the ones who are ready) and get even better results.
3. Alchemy of Support
Uplevelling is tough and it doesn’t happen overnight. It can also bring up a lot of fears and doubts as the ego tries to keep you safe. There can be a lot to change and at times it will feel wobbly as you embody the new you and integrate the inner and outer changes, so a high level of support and accountability is essential.
Try journalling on these 2 questions:
What do you want to uplevel in your business right now?
And then, what fears, feelings, thoughts, limiting beliefs etc, does that bring up for you as you feel into what you want to change?
