5 Reasons to get known as an Expert coach or healer now

BEING AN EXPERT - DEFINITION

When I say ‘become an expert,’ I’m talking about you identifying and doing what you are amazing at, owning that you are an expert in it, and then positioning yourself as an expert so you are known as such.

1. Stand out from the sea of sameness in a saturated industry

The coaching industry is growing fast, with thousands of new coaches starting businesses every year; from health coaches, menopause coaches, business coaches, fitness coaches, life coaches and everything in between.

If you want dream clients to choose you, you have to position yourself as THE SOLUTION to their specific problem.

NOT a generic solution to a generic problem.

The best way to do that is to be an expert and get known as an expert - in your niche.

2. Prevent burnout

When you continually work with draining, unaligned clients (usually because what you’re offering is very general), you will feel exhausted because you’re not working in your zone of genius.

You may be overdelivering and undercharging, trying so hard to get them the result you know you can get for the right people. But because they are the wrong people for you, you are over-efforting and struggling with your capacity (time and energy-wise) to take on more clients. So you get stuck spending more time and energy on fewer clients, and not making enough money.

3. Stop the cycle of doubt

The downward spiral of non-ideal client attraction:

↓ You keep attracting non-ideal clients (maybe they used to be ideal, but you've evolved)

↓ These clients drain you and they're not getting the best results (you know you can get)

↓ You doubt yourself and your abilities.

→ Which keeps you stuck in a lower frequency (doubt) and so you attract at that level, more of the same.

If instead, you want to go up the spiral of ‘Aligned Client Attraction’ and attract premium, aligned clients who are ready & committed, do your best work with them at a higher level and get amazing results - you need to position yourself as an EXPERT.

4. make more revenue

When you truly become an expert (not just call yourself one, but really step into your unique expertise, hone in and become amazing at what you do) you can charge more, with integrity.

I’m not talking about over-promising just to get sales.

I’m talking about getting amazing results because you have specialised and gained specific experience and knowledge, by helping specific people with a specific thing.

The premium, aligned clients you want are more discerning and they are willing to pay more for a service that gets the result they want in the best and fastest way. They don’t want to waste time on your trial and error because you’re trying to help them with something that’s not in your zone of genius.

5. Do your best soul work with premium, aligned clients

When you become an expert (in the way I teach and coach it) you also get to do your ‘soul work’ - the work you are here to do, that you are amazing at, and that gets the best results with the most aligned clients.

It’s not merely a positioning exercise. Truly owning your unique magic and becoming an expert in that, is an embodied process of stepping into the energy of certainty, relaxed knowing, and being in flow.

This is inner positioning and it is essential to do so your messaging isn’t just ‘hot air’!

NB: Becoming an expert is not generally something you can do in the first year or two of your coaching business, unless you’ve already been doing the exact thing before.
